The name, Silver-fern is broken into two sections.
“Silver”, meaning the structure, the building comprising of design and construction excellence. “Fern”, meaning the structure being framed with landscaping and more importantly, the environment. Thus, Energy efficiency becomes an important factor to the created structure. That is the home or building. The Twenty one, “21” in Silverfern21 means the century we are in.Prior to 1993, Silver-fern Design was formally known as “Engler Design”.
